2017年7月4日至7月18日，我們到了日本，松戶市的藝術單位“天堂進駐”進行為期兩週的藝術駐村。“天堂進駐”位於日本千葉縣的松戶市。連接松戶市與東京市的江戶川為松戶市所帶來的交通便利，使松戶市長期作為旅人必經的樞紐位置，而歷史悠久，節慶文化豐富。

天然顏料的製作方式雖有極多種，但主要材料都源於大自然的一切。我們在松戶市的社區與神社進行植物的考察，同時觀察與收集生長於江戶川公園的原生植物。

我們希望透過工作坊的形式讓當地居民有機會親身體驗自製顏料的樂趣。以簡化後的步驟，從無到有，自製色彩墨汁並完成一幅繪畫創作。感受植物由一個生命的個體轉換成另一個生命的延續，以藝術形式長久不朽。

為期兩週的藝術計劃與工作坊旨在探討大自然、藝術創作與文化之間的關係。原生植物於當地的生態環境與生活文化扮演著重要的角色。它們的誕生維持著大自然中不同比例的平衡，同時也點綴了人們的生活。除了一些當地文化或是祭奠節慶出自這些原生植物，無形中也形成了當地居民對於美的各種定義與審美方式，從而創作出不同的藝術作品。大自然、藝術創作與文化，三者之間都有著密切的鏈接與關係。我們期望通過工作坊與當地居民進行交流，互相學習與推廣藝術教育，讓當地居民透過理解簡單的墨汁製作方式，無論何時何地都能夠自製想要的五彩墨汁。

On 4th of July to 18th of July, we went to "PARADISE AIR" for a short stay program in Japan, Matsudo city. The Edogawa river which connects Matsudo city and Tokyo city have make the city of Matsudo prospered as a place where travelers could rest during their journeys. As a point of transit, Matsudo city become a rich cultural and historic city.

Natural pigments are produced in varies ways and the main material are collect from the nature. We observed and did inspection in the shrine and the surrounding of the Matsudo city. We collected leaf, stem and also native plants grown in Edogawa Park.

We wish the local residents got a opportunity to experience the fun of making colour pigments by attending the workshop. They can make some ink by themselves with few simple steps and create their artworks. They can also feel the transformation of plants from life to another situation of life with the form of art.

The two weeks of art program and workshop aims to explore the relationship between nature, art creation and culture. Native plants play an important role in the local ecological environment, life and culture. It born to maintain the balance of the different proportions of nature, but also embellished people's life. Some of the culture or festivals are named by the native plants and also the native plants have formed the local residents' definition of beautiful to create different artworks. Nature, art creation and culture have a close connection. We hope to have more interaction and communication with local residents throughout the workshop and learn something new from each other to promote art education. Let local residents can create their own colorful ink in anywhere or anytime with steps of ink production.
